The passenger sliding door would shut all the way but after about 10 seconds it would pop back out about 3 8 causing the open door sensor to sound.

Make sure both sliding doors are closed. After reading plenty of forums and watching several videos i decided to take out the 20 amp fuse for the passenger sliding door. Connect the positive battery terminal then the negative. Open your doors manually as far as they ll go but be gentle.

Turns out 1 of our gas door hinges is broken thereby blocking the sliding door cable somehow. If the battery is disconnected shut both sliding doors manually.
