I had a response that it could be the sensor switch that senses if the liftgate is closed but the door does not open when using the overhead console button the fob or when you try to open it from the outside of the liftgate. My driver s door opens from the handle on the outside of the car but not from the handle on the inside door handle. You may be surprised at how easy it can be.
