2000 Ford F150 Door Locks Not Working

I just inherited my fathers 2000 ford f150. If this occurs you need to troubleshoot the power door locks and keyless entry remote on the ford vehicle. I have a 2000 f 150 and the power locks are not working properly. The lock actuators are not hard to replace they are inside the door.

This is due to the battery dieing. They do not respond to the remote. When pushing either left or right door button there is a click in t read more. Checked the batteries in the key fobs checked the fuses checked the car battery.

Step 1 change out the battery on the keyless entry remote control if the car is not responding to the buttons you press. Is that the most logical thing or is there something else i can try first. Read that it might be an actuator problem not sure i can fix this. I bet the noise kind of sounds like a humming grinding noise in the doors as you watch the door lock just vibrate.

I am buying a 2000 ford f150 4x4 with electric locks. Power door lock repair i just did this repair on my 2001 f350 powerstroke 7 3l dually 4 door. Most likely the door lock actuators have failed this is not uncommon for both to fail at the same time. Its a real hassel. The automatic door locks do not work. This happens with both doors and both buttons.

The door panel will need to be removed.
