00 Astro Door Locks Not Working

I have a 2001 chevy astro van.

00 astro door locks not working.

Not sure why chevy decided not to put interior release. The electronic door locks only work through the remote not through the buttons on the doors. I read where you can take off the speaker cover in the door and reach thru and unlock release from there. If you hear a motor whirring then in all likelihood the actuator is the problem.
